A storyboard is a graphic organiser in the form
of illustrations displayed in a sequence for the purpose of pre-visualising a
motion picture, film, and animation. In our team I took it upon myself to
create the storyboard, as I am the only student in my group that practices Art
as a subject. I used my imagination together with suggestions from my group to
create a storyboard that represents the sequence that we are going to film as
well as in what way we will partially film it. I did this by creating three
drafts of the storyboard. After each draft our team would go over what it is
that we could either include or take out of the storyboard. Subsequently I
would draw the next draft until I have drawn my third drat which became our
final draft. The storyboard is a crucial part of preparing for a shooting of a sequence
as it gives the overall idea of what the shoot might look like without the necessity
of actually shooting anything, or spending huge amounts of budget on creating a
test shoot. Furthermore the storyboard serves as a rough outline for the
director and the camera crew as to what will be shot, and in what way it will
be shot.In general I feel like I have carried out this task in a successful manor, which helped our group greatly in preparing to shoot out thriller sequence/introduction.
