Planning - Meeting With The Set Designer

Today I together with my group met our set designer and discussed with her our ideas for our sets. One we have finished discussing our set designer have us appropriate feedback. Primarily we have been told to us a black and white colourama for our singularly coloured sets as they are easy to transport and set up. Following this we've been told that there may be a number of old television within our school that we could potentially utilize for our TV set. Furthermore our teacher assured us that with the number of cameras that we have at the school we should be able to interconnect the televisions with the cameras and shoot the televisions whilst shooting our lead artist in a small space on the side. This was good news for us as we were unsure at the moment about how we will manage time wise with recording our artist and placing footage of her on the televisions to shoot at a later period. Therefore this was fantastic news for us. After discussing with our set designer who we should talk to about acquiring the televisions we have been given a green light on our set ideas. As a group we agreed to use the studio at the school to shoot a portion of music video. We decided to shoot the other portion with the black and white colouramas in a small studio in London that we rented for our shoot date. At this point we have finished the meeting with our set designer and were prepared to move on with other segments of the music video to be planned.
