Planning - Storyboard: Design Process

The following represents the design process I have used in order to create the storyboard for my groups music video concept. I began this process by selecting an image which I think is adequate to the storyboard I have visualised in my mind.

I would than import the image I have chosen into photoshop. I used the following layout for every single image I have edited in order for all of my images to be the same sizes.

After the following I would cut out the portion of the image I would like to portray and would invert it to achieve a more visually appealing color scheme.
Once I have inverted and cut the image it would be normally ready. Although for certain parts of my storyboard I wanted to colour certain pieces of clothing.

I coloured a piece of clothing by copying and pasting a cut section over the present one as a new layer. I then coloured that new layer to make it appear as if I have solely coloured that piece of clothing.
Then I used the merge tool in order to merge together the two layers which I have created into one layer.
By doing this I was able to achieve the effect shown to the right.

Once I have completed the following process I would then save the image as a jpeg.
The visual shown to the right displays the final outcome to the work process shown above.
